ARE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS INFLUENCES POSITIVE THOUGHTS?
“Life is the only game in which the object of the game is to learn the rules.”
—Ashleigh Brilliant
Firstly, I want to ask you how many of you are happy with your life? Some says ‘yes’, some answered ‘No’, may be some answered ‘Little bit’. I asked you to tell me what are the rules of life to stay happiest, most successful, what conclusion would you give me?? Surely, you know so many people in this world who are not satisfied with their jobs, relationships, and their careers.
Every one has to face various problems and hurdles in life. People are afraid of trying something new. There are variety of reasons to stay in situations – money, prestige, family obligations and the certain economy. It’s depend on us how we can deal with challenges of life. Turmoil, excitement or both can be experienced with some of the changes that are happening in your own life as well as in this world.
In a day your mind will create thousands of thoughts in a day. Where some thoughts are positive while other thoughts are negative. Both positive and negative thought have direct impact on our mind. More positive thoughts will boost you up with positive vibes and vice-versa.
It is rightly said that “Life is 10% what happens to us rest 90% is how we react to it”

So, there are following steps to transform negative thoughts into positive ones.
1. Stay away from “all-or-nothing” thinking
Balanced emotions should be needed to led an emotionally healthy life. Life events are not ‘Completely calamitous’ or ‘Thoroughly wonderful’ but hold elements of good and bad. Depression makes people sadist to think in absolute. ‘Black and white’ or, All-or-nothing is the thinking pattern that results in “flight or fight” response to a danger. All-or-nothing is induced emotionally. It causes over-dreaming and maintains depression.
2. Stay away from negative thoughts
More negative thoughts will increase unwillingness. We need to cultivate our mind with positive thoughts rather than negative ones. Sometimes, to find some peace and happiness we just need to let it go. Sift your thoughts and choose positive ones to change the world. One positive thought can change many things. We can change our mental filter by allowing positive thoughts to sift through it.
3. Don’t jump to conclusions recklessly
When confronted with an unwanted situation, need to take a deep breath, and a step back and look at the whole situation again with calmness. We all are suckers for a good story. But sometimes we don’t know the real difference between what we “see or experience”. The main point is we don’t take much value until we seek a better understanding of really what’s happening.
4. Be aware of emotional reasoning
A good example of emotional reasoning is like – “I am a bad person because i feel shame.” On the contrary there are many people who feel the shame – like all of us. It doesn’t mean that our soul, character has been downgraded just because we are facing certain uncomfortable emotions. We should give our spirit some grace and mercy. After that we will be in a better position to self-limiting the thoughts.
5. Don’t take everything personally
Sometimes we depends upon others emotionally or financially for our happiness, security and safety. We often look for others to fulfill our needs. This will make us “Bargain with the devil” because our mind becomes conscious and we need them. Taking things personally is a by-product of this bargain. Sometimes people are insensitive, judgmental, or just in a bad mood and that time if someone pushes your buttons, don’t react to it.
6. Step back from magnifying a problem
Our negative thoughts start to churn when we confused between the two. Magnifying a problem gives a second view. It gives more energy to the problem. Also, it makes situation larger than ever intended to be. The fact is that we allow our negative thoughts more easily rather than positive thoughts. Therefore, we need to maintain distance from magnifying a problem.
