Good health and well- being

 

According to the United Nation 2030 agenda to achieve the sustainable development goals includes good health and well being to be a top priority. The health of an individual is necessary for able to achieve others goals. A good heath leads us in making a strong body who is able to fight and survive in this world.

What is the Goal?

The goal is to address all the issues related to health and ensure healthy life plus well being of all ages.

The issues related to health-

• Reproduction
• Maternal and child health
• Communicable and non-communicable diseases
• Environmental sanity
• Affordable medicine and vaccines
• Child-birth
• Malnutrition
• Other common diseases

 

Why Is this Goal Important?

To build a healthy and prosperous economy it is important to improve health and wellbeing of themselves. It is a human right to get access to proper health facilities and it is our responsibility to help the underprivileges get all the necessary facilities related to health and medicine.

 

Despite all the efforts made still there are approx.5 million children who die before the age of 5 due to diseases or malnutrition and over 15,000 children suffer from tuberculosis and measles each day. Women are mostly affected or faces death due to child birth related complications, plus in rural areas there are a smaller number of professional doctors who can provide a safe child-birth and other facilities.

But even after that the deaths can be avoided if we take some measures to protect ourself from diseases and health issues. We can take measures like-

• Giving Education
• Organizing immunization campaigns
• Make access to better medical facilities.
• Educate them for proper sexual and reproductive healthcare

 

Taking time to invest for a proper health and well-being of an individual will help to achieve standard heath for all the ages. The 2030 Agenda is for the well-being of the individuals. The investments must have a global support of every country because every country is facing the issue of poverty at some percentage. These initiatives play important role in gaining an efficient economy.
