Children are often abused online in India. Astonishing numbers show that children under the age of 16 are raped every 155 minutes and children under the age of 10 are raped every 13 hours. It can be 3 months to 10 years. There are no barriers for perverts to choose from. Most notably, the blockade of Covid-19, forcing children and their families to stay indoors, closing schools, not playing or meeting friends,  and peak discomfort and irritation. .. The only way was mobile phones and social networks. This is a trap. Many children have been fascinated by the temptation of offers and thrills without understanding what they mean. According to Interpol, an estimated 2.4 million cases of child sexual abuse online were reported in India between 2017 and 2020. Over 80% of these incidents involved children under the age of 14. The US-based National Center for Missing and Exploiting Children (NCMEC) reported that more than 2.44 million children were abused in 2017 and that cases will increase by 2020. When it comes to the material on child sexual abuse, India is much more active. Many companies have uploaded these videos and started moving their hosting to other countries. These syndicates use kids as a tool for pedophilia, pornography, and the porn business. 

 The problem of child sexual abuse is serious. Rape is one of the top four crimes against women in India. Child sexual abuse proves that our country is full of pedophiles who only want to exploit all the children they see. Those who prey on someone’s innocence are just monsters, some of whom live in or around their homes/schools/neighbors, and most of whom are very well known to their victims. Several rape cases in India have attracted media attention and aroused protests. This has led the Indian government to amend the criminal law for rape and sexual assault. The number of minors under the age of 18 or underage criminals legally has reached an astonishing high in the last decade. This should be of particular concern to countries with 47.21 million people. H. Almost 39% of the population is under the age of 18.

 

Most children who have been sexually abused never recover. Child abuse occurs in all societies, regardless of language or religion. Child abuse is often committed by someone the child knows / trusts, and today by so-called online virtual friends. The Internet has increased predation in children by promoting contact between pedophiles and children. However, the Internet now provides hundreds of children with relief by providing them with the ability to report abuse and seek help. Children are the most vulnerable when they are young, and adults can be the most vicious creatures to walk the globe. 

 Predators are lurking and hooking victims. Victims are usually young adults. Things that are ready to be “cared for”. But it can also be an older adult who has something to rob predators. Children endure traumatic effects and the resilience these aggressive adults give to their lives as parents and authorities seek out the dynamics of these highly abusive events in the dark. Is developed and left in limbo. Children are abused, unbelievable, and voiceless. We must be their voice. Expecting humiliation by those who don’t care too much, they do little and the law doesn’t protect their children. 

 In most homes, parents remain unmanned, a vacuum that draws their children into the virtual world. Their hormones are tested when they talk to so-called strangers and take advantage of their loneliness. It all starts with a story and irreparable damage to the young mind. Child sexual abuse is a crime and many perpetrators have a sexual attraction to their children. They simply use their children as opportunistic targets. 

 Recently, with the introduction of the Child Protection Act (POCSO) for sexual crimes, the media has been focusing on child sexual exploitation and legal reporting requirements. You can see how sexual abuse of children is increasing. We have read about the reported cases, which are the millions of unreported cases reported. However, it is still not a deterrent, crime is on the rise, and there is less control over such cases.

 

We can talk about it, there may be reports of abuse and news, but it all happens in a short amount of time. The child has been suffering for a long time. Many children who have been abused in some way develop certain psychological problems. These problems include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, codependence, and even lack of human connectivity. Although it can have immediate physical adverse effects, many chronic physical conditions include later pathological conditions such as developmental problems, increased incidence of chronic illness, unhealthy behavior, and shortened lifespan. It is also strongly associated with physical and psychological effects. Abused children can grow up and become abused adults. Child abuse can have many emotional consequences. Children who are constantly ignored, embarrassed, frightened, and humiliated suffer as much or more as they do when they are physically assaulted. Abused children can grow up with anxiety, low self-esteem, and lack of development. Many abused children have difficulty building trust, social withdrawal, school, and relationships. Imagine this general as a growing adult. Perhaps this is why the lives of young people are so threatened by depression, suicidal ideation, and mental illness. In India, besides rape, children are being abused in many ways. I see children begging by the side of the road, working in stores, and being abused many times. Raise social awareness that girls and women have free will. Whether it’s social media, discussion forums, or the procession of candlelight, we need to make society sensitive to these crimes.
