The UP elections have been seeing various trends for quite some time. The trend in the 58 constituencies of the state will be a delight to watch as we are coming towards the left six stages of the same. The various ministers have their eyes on this section as it would be very unexpected to see who comes on top.
The first phase of the UP election had close to 60 percent turnout of voters. This is the percentage of people coming out to cast their votes. Shamli and Muzaffarnagar had the highest and second-highest turnout of voters respectively. Agra, Meerut, and Ghaziabad had relatively low turnout when compared to the other districts of the state.
The voting procedures also saw some escalation of emotions as a controversy between Congress leader Rajni Kant Raju and Gen. VK Singh turned out. It led to great media coverage and disruption in procedures, such that it required the timely intervention of the security before things took the wrong turn. Gen VK Singh also made headlines for his alliance remarks. He said that no alliance can make a difference to the polls and voting numbers.
The present CM Yogi Adityanath supported BJP and credited the party for ensuring safety for women, which is why they turned out in large numbers. He also claimed that BJP has been able to bring about changes to reduce the crime rate and lessen riots in the state. He thus persuaded the people to bring the rule back to his name.
PM Modi who has been on rallies for campaigning, applauded Goa for 100 percent vaccination in the state. He also stated that all his missions which were planned for the state were executed with perfection. He considered Goa as a place of aspirations where he dreams of doing much more for the citizens. He further gave Goa the full form of,
Governance, Opportunities, and Aspirations. He also took to Twitter to announce his next rally projects. According to the notification, he was set to be campaigning in Almora and Kasganj on 11 February. Various projections have been made concerning the UP election. Only time will bring about the results which are much awaited.
